18 U.S.C. § 2422(b) (US Code - Section 2422b): Coercion and enticement reads, in part:

Whoever, using the mail or any facility or means of interstate or foreign commerce, or within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States knowingly persuades, induces, entices, or coerces any individual who has not attained the age of 18 years, to engage in prostitution or any sexual activity for which any person can be charged with a criminal offense, or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title and imprisoned for not less than five years and not more than 30 years.

Attempted enticement of a minor is a federal offense. However, that does not necessarily mean that Florida state lines must be crossed. Even if the alleged enticement of a minor occurred in Florida, the federal government could still become involved. My job is to analyze the factors that led up to your arrest and pursue a reduction in charges or a plea agreement, working with the prosecutor and judge.

Throughout the entire process, I will maintain constant and candid communications about the progress of your case, your chances for success and the next steps. Please know that throughout every step of your defense, I will diligently protect your rights and fight for the best outcome.
