On September 6, 2013, Harford County indicted a grandfather on one Count of Sexual Abuse of a Minor and four Counts of Violating Maryland’s Third Degree Sexual Offense statute. After a four day jury trial in the Circuit Court for Harford County, on June 2, 2014, the Defendant was found Not Guilty of Sexual Abuse of a Minor and three of the four Counts of Third Degree Sex Offense/ The jury was hung on the fourth Count of Third Degree Sex Offense.”
